Gedanken an Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft sind im ständigen Wechselspiel, wenn es um die Suche nach dem richtigen Weg und der eigenen Identität geht. Die Frage nach der Individuation des Selbst ist Gegenstand der Arbeit ONE OF US CANNOT BE WRONG, in der zwei Videos einen visuellen Dialog miteinander eingehen. Auf zwei Monitoren ist jeweils die erste und die letzte Therapiesitzung eines dreijährigen Behandlungszeitraums zu sehen. Die Kameraposition ist in beiden Videos identisch und adaptiert den Stil einer Interviewsituation. Die Installation läuft ohne Ton, sodass Mimik und Gestik die einzigen Kommunikationsmittel darstellen.

When seeking the right path and identity, thoughts of
the past, present and future are constantly intermingled. The question of the individuation of self is the subject of the work ONE OF US CANNOT BE WRONG, in which two videos enter into a visual dialogue. On two monitors the first and last therapy session of a three­year treatment period can be seen. The camera position is identical in both videos and adapts the style of an interview situation. The installation is without sound so that facial expression and body language are the only means of communication.
